Gregg, I second N0TT's suggestion. I cement a cap on the business end. It has a small hole drilled in it. Put a PVC to hose adapter on the other end and drill away. Have done this in a large church property on a number of sidewalks and driveways and at my home under a driveway. The driveways and sidewalks usually have sand under them and the "drill" works very well. Good luck!!
