It does not matter where you find them and what the size is.
Lyme disease might be carried by any.
Dogs might become infected by ticks as well.
And yes, pull them out with tweezers as soon as possible, don´t use anything
else.

Deer ticks tend to be very small, as opposed to the dog ticks that we
are more accustomed to getting out, and dog ticks don't carry Lyme
disease. A deer tick could be the size of the tweezer tip.
