Not sure when the "thunderbird" label was first used. I know as Jim shows the TH6 was called a "thunderbird." Could be the TH-4 from about 1960 was also called that name. Hy-Gain came out of World Radio Labs (WRL). Leo decided to turn Hy-Gain into a separate company at some point.
