If the property is close enough take a run or two when it's real wet and see if you can hear anything. _______________________________________________ LIKEWISE, IF YOU HAVE THE TIME & ACCESS, TAKE A RUN OR TWO WHEN IT'S REAL DRY AND SEE IF YOU CAN HEAR ANYTHING. LV (<800V) ARCING USUALLY TAKES PLACE WHEN ITS DRY, WHEREAS HV (>1KV) CORONA CAN OCCUR WHEN IT'S WET/HUMID. TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT NOISE SOURCES, BOTH POWERLINE ORIGINS, BUT TWO DIFFERENT DISTRUBUTION NETWORKS.
