Ray-
I've always had good luck with Berz-O-Matic propane torches. They come with
a fool-proof flint & steel igniter that has never failed me. I wore one out
in 25 years and the second one is still going strong after 10 more years. I
bought mine in a kit that includes a big soldering tip that slips over the
end of the torch jet. I think you can still get these at any home
improvement center.
