My tower gets cranked all the way down, a heavy steel bar gets inserted
and then I climb an extension ladder that is propped against the lowest
section to go up and work on "minor" items. Other than that it gets
tilted over for repairs. Although I have considered having the welding
shop around the corner fabricate a platform that can be inserted into
the top of two of the legs on the lowest section to stand on. I have
wondered if anyone here has tried that or am I just asking for one of
the quick trips to the bottom?
