Nearly all of mine (50ish these days) are trade for service.
Naturally the tower owner usually gets great service as he's right on the
main backhaul to the tower :-). At the very least he gets a LOT of
attention from us when he needs help.
My worst one is $1.25 per subscriber, $250.00 minimum from a city. They
don't own the tower or the building, just the land. I also work with the
structure owners, but that's trade for service.
The other tower I pay rent on is $1.00 per month per subscriber directly
serviced from that location. He gets more than he originally wanted for
rent now, and I had no fixed costs early on. Win win.
