I heard the story back in the 70's at the Rochester, NY Hamfest. Old man Mosley
was giving an
antenna talk and told it with a wooden barrel being pulled up a tower to put
all the pieces of
antenna in for refurbishing the climber came down and let the rope loose and
the barrel was heavier
then him, he became tangled in the rope and up the tower he went , the barrel
hitting the ground and
the bottom came out with the antenna parts and down he came hitting the barrel
on the way down.
