Look for "coax loss calculator" on the internet. Loss is of course
dependent on operationg frequency, length and vswr.
50 ohm 7/8 heliax rigid with foam dielectric (the most common type) is
LDF5-50A I think and has very low loss, something on the order of
0.5dB per 100ft at 400MHz (or close to that figure.)
