I have switched using a choke balun to the CAL-AV EB-1 on a Cushcraft A3S, a WARC band RTD, and now a 40M RTD, and the CAL-AV EB-1 has brought down my resonant points on all antennas allowing a broader usable bandwidth- I have not put one on my Tennadyne T-8 LPDA as a choke custom made by the company has delivered on significantly lower SWR readings than the home brew air chokes I used to try- 73 Paul N0AH _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
