If you want to remove the rivets the acid dip is the best way to go. A
friend did the acid bath and replaced the rivets with stainless steel
bolts... tower specs improved significantly as per a PE that ran the
numbers. But its a lot of work to re-assemble the entire tower from scratch,
haha. Don't recommended unless you live in Alaska and have long winter
nights to work on such projects ;-)
