Well John you don't read to well or maybe comprehension is a problem,
re-read Tom's post again a few times.

Sending the wrong bolts is not "totally screwed up in manufacturing". I'm
assuming that Champion Radio did later send you the correct bolts so you
didn't have to grind anything. Unfortunately wrong hardware and missing
parts do happen more often than we would like. I concur that DX Engineering
is a well run company. They ship almost instantly and take a very active
approach to solving any issues.

Unfortunately Edd, yes. Not only did I never get any confirmation on any
orders, the M2800 mast clamp was totally screwed up in the 'manufacturing'
process. In order to get the four bolts to go into the base plate, you had
to grind off part of the bolt head; there was very little similarity between
the nice picture on Champion's web page and what I actually received. The
owner of Champion Radio told me he 'forgot' to send me the 'special bolts'
but would send them to me right away, and that was the last I heard from
him. Unfortunately, while buying parts for my new 45G tower, just about
every company I bought parts from had serious customer relations problems.
The only one that stood out, miles above the rest has been DX Engineering.
