The first time I encountered this method, I wasn't totally impressed.
But after installing dozens of them over the years with no failures, I've
accepted it as simple and reliable. F12 uses 7x19 wire rope so it suffers
little damage in use.
Yes, sometimes it takes a little grunting to get it up and tight but
it's worth it.
