I have used a worm gear winch from the Dutton-Lainson Company for the last 8 
years with no problems.
Model Nr. 6312A  or 5312A {poor eyesight !!}

Raising a C/craft A3S + 40M addon.

                   Diamond X6000A

Up an Aluma 60ft mast.
