The original three screws holding the bearing cover were pushed out and so
the bearing.
Obviously three screws were not enough to hold the cover plate of the
bearing in place on the aluminium housing when the worm shaft pushed against
it in its bearing.
The repaired and modified rotators (5 screws) are doing well since then.

Exactly which part(s) failed; but also, which other parts survived? It
would be good to know the strengths as well as the weaknesses.
