I built a box with 2 SPST relays per antenna and switched them with
SPDT center off switches, one per antenna. That way each antenna can
only be switched to 1 rig at a time (unless a relay sticks) however
more than 1 antenna can be active to each rig. Now my problem is
that there is no way to switch antennas over an internet
connection. I am away from home right now, but if you need a
schematic I could probably draw something up & scan it at
home. Didn't use a schematic to build, too simple. BTW, the relays
were cheap DPDT relays from our favorite Shack with a short soldered
across the common contacts to increase isolation. With no filters or
stubs I can run 100 watts on each rig and not cause any problems
except right close to exact harmonics. And sometimes it is nice to
run both the TH5 and the HyTower on the same rig at the same time.
If you wanted to go REAL cheap you could just use the SPDT center off
switches to directly switch the antennas. Don't know how that would
work on the higher bands, but hey, give it a try.
