A buddy of mine needs 190-200' of Rohn 65-G.. and pretty soon. He would
like to use the 10' sections , and not the 20's... if
at all possible. The plan was to use 3-4 x KX0G rings + KX0G base
rotor. Also, 3/8" Polygon rod guy wire to be used.

Top ring was to be at the 165' level.. and have 25' of UN-supported tower
above it. [ or guy at 175'.. and have same 25' un-supported portion above top
guys]
  On that 25' of Un-supported portion, a 2 el 80m yagi [ M2] was to be
installed, along with a m2 4 x el 40m yagi.. and also a 5 x el 20m m2 yagi.

Lower down, the plan was for a 2nd 4-el 40m yagi... and also TWO more
5-el 20m yagi's... and also single yagi's for 17-15-10-6m.

IE: 10 [ TEN] yagi's in all. Will 65-G take this kind of load ??
Max wind gust ever recorded in the last 10 x yrs at this location was 57 mph [
at the 160' level of another tower]

In looking through old Rohn catalog I have..... the "safe moment of restraint"
is :

45g- 9610 ft lbs aprx $269.00 per 10' section
55g- 17,160 ft lbs aprx $319.00 per 10' section
65g- 33,200 ft lbs aprx $365.00 per 10' section

Seems to me that's a huge diff, between 45 g and 55g... another huge diff,
between 55g and 65g .

The game plan was to opt for 65-G.... if we can find some... new. The gin
pole is what's giving us the run around. Any idea's.... or general notes with
65-G owners would be appreciated. EG; install procedures unique to 65-g ..
pitfalls.. 'gotcha's, etc.

Per Rohn book, 3 x sets of guys are required. But this is a wicked load.
4 x sets of guys can be used, if required .
