I would still create a base plate with some all thread 1 - 1.5" diam bolts 
and drill the holes thru the base plate and into the basalt or whatever you 
have... about 3' below the base of your factory form.  that would make for 
about 5' to 6' bolts and place those bolts about 3" beyond the three uprights 
of the tower.  if you have the tower base plate, I would have a welder burn 
holes for the bolts and follow my previous suggestions.  I did not get a base 
plate with my HG52 so I bought one and had a sign company do all the metal 
work.  my concrete base is only about 3'x3'x3' and like you, will lower the 
tower to its 20' height in case of hurricane or similar.
