I have no good experience and haven't modeled, BUT we did put up a 40m delta at FD one yr. It was an interesting exercise. We left the wire free to run at the corners, connected an analyzer, and slid the wire around until we got a match. Sho 'nuf, perfect 1/1. As I recall, the feed ended up near one corner. We made lots of contacts and rarely had to call twice, even in FD condx!
