:::: I had several crankup towers on an extremely windy mountaintop. I never
left them up unless I was on the air.
Another reason not to "remote" the tower operation is the fact that you
cannot really see if any cables, like the coax, hang up or get caught.
Another is the tower sticking, although the LM470 does have the pull down
cable method.
In the end, it's just an accident waiting to happen.
