Our club has one on the roof of a building with a copper roof. The antenna
works fine but the bottom mast is thin wall and will bend easily in a gust
of wind if you don't guy the radiating element to take the stress from the
base. You could insert another section of aluminum in the first section
below the 10m trap, even clamp some aluminum angle but you'll have to do
something because the stock antenna is a bit light on aluminum for the
amount of wind load.
