That's the old "American Steel" tower. Strictly light duty and worth
about $10 a section in good shape. With that one I'd want to use a
thickness gage to make sure that is only *surface* rust. It needs the
interior of the legs treated with linseed oil like they do in tubular
aircraft fuselages. The outside needs cleaning and repainting. They
are mild steel that has been painted. No galvanizing is present. Cross
braces are at 24" which makes them "interesting" and very tiring to climb.
