[TowerTalk] Car Coils as Static Drain Chokes

Dear Towertalk,

Has anyone used the secondary coil of a conventional car ignition coil, as a
Static Drain Choke, to bleed off residual Static charge from an am tower,
but primarily to act as a DC path for lightning jumping across ceramic
insulators, then running amok with the SWR.
