I have always used a bolt through the T2X top clamp into and through the mast. Has worked for me for the past 30 + years. This is shown in the T2X manual. Make sure its hard steel not a soft bolt. I have 3 antennas mounted on a W9IIX ladder mast plus a 2 meter Isopole at the top.
