Joe,
Assuming your concrete was poured around the securely positioned anchor
bolts the concrete will set in two to four hours, depending on the mix, and
attain 75 percent of its ultimate strength in about 7 days. Keeping things
moist, the concrete cures to 90 percent compression strength in about 28
days.
Curing conditions for concrete are as crucial to strength as adequate
curing time. Temperature fluctuations, or temperatures below 40 degrees, or
above 90 degrees Fahrenheit can inhibit concrete curing, ultimately causing
anchor bolts to fail. Plan concrete placement during favorable weather. Keep
concrete surfaces wet while curing, to dissipate heat and prevent surface
evaporation.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Concrete Set Time
How long after the concrete truck leaves before I can safely raise my
HDBX-48 with hexbeam on top? 3 weeks? A month? 6 weeks?
Thanks and 73,
