Dennis,
I would suggest you check with Norms rotor service. He should be able to
tell you if the two controllers are compatible. If the control box wiring is
the same, then the only issue might be the wiring of the rotor mounted
feedback pot. Some have one side grounded and others have the center tap
grounded.

As far as the RotorEZ module that should not be an issue, since it has
relays in parallel with the control paddles and the controller can still be
operated manually as before.
I have a RotorEZ in a modified CDE controller to operate my Prop pitch drive
rotor. I bought the control box at a swap fest and have no idea which Ham
series it came from. It seemed to match HyGain standard wiring for several
series Rotors.
