I am considering a semi- commercial loop. Sold by a ham. 8' diamond for rx on
160m/80m. I'm using an OCF on 160m at 50' & an 80m half square now. My problem
is rx.I work what I hear but I would like to hear better. I plan to put it on
a 5-6' tower & rotate it. I'd use a pre-amp. This will go to my K3.

What I'm asking is anyone using a rx diamond [pvc with coax inside & a matching
network]? What do you use as a pre -amp? Anyone rotating theirs? A pennant or
large wire loop is impractical in my case. 8 towers,guys,2 mono verticals and
shrubbery is enough to mow around. I want as simple as possible rx loop.
