These units have some issues on 160 if you live close to an AM broadcast
station. The AM signals will swamp the MFJ unit. ICE sells a filter that
help with this.
They are a very handy tool to have.

I actually do both since the antennas are HF and some are VHF, but I have
been putting them up in the air to adjust them, just thought if I got the
analyzer I could save some time erecting them back and forth with
adjustments.
But, physics is physics so it seems, not a good idea on the ground.
