Frank,
It is not an optimized height for 160M regardless of what they say. The
marketing departments at DXE, MFJ, Zero Five etc. want you to think so so
you'll plop down $300+. This vertical is only a decent performer on
40/30/20M (with a decent radial system). It's a fair performer on 80M and
way too short on 160M. On 17M, 15M, 12M and 10M it's a cloud warmer (too
tall).

Can someone tell how 43ft can be claimed as an optimized height on 160M?
I see ads from MFJ as well for 43 ft vertical.
