In all my reading about antennas in recent years, I have noted that every case of "Too good to be true" description has claimed that their particular antenna could not be modelled. See the history of the CFA for an exampe. I have seen the results of lots of poor madels, but not one from a competent modeller that did not give some indicatio of performance. Your experience may be different.
