I use power poles quite often for antenna projects. In this part of the world there is lots of commercial logging activity so if the pole I want to manipulate is less that 70' or so, I just get a self-loader logging truck over for about $75/hr. 40-50' poles are like matchsticks to them. If you have local logging operations you might look into that approach.
