Howdy folks,
I am certainly not the swiftest guy on this subject, but I have fed a
bobtail curtain (Hi-Z as is the
1/2 wave) with a quickie parallel tank tapped for coax feed. Worked like
gang-busters.

Subject: [TowerTalk] inverted L for 60?
I would love to get on 160 but I do not have room for a 1/2 wave dipole.
I have a 52' tall rohn 25 with a force 12 c3 at the top and a 2 meter beam
10' above it. The tower is guyd but the guys are insulated from the tower
about 1' away from the legs with egg insulators.
The be of the tower is 15' from the shack and in a side yard with no more
than 20' in any direction that radials can run. There are 3 ground rods
each t outside the concrete and connected to each leg with a 15' bured 10ga
bare copper wire also atached and running in 3 directions. The tower also
has a Alpha Delta twin sloper for 160-80-40 connected
at the 50' level. this antenna is not very good on 160 and cannot handle
much power. The longest direction a wire can run from this tower is 130' to
anther 30' tower at the back corner of the yard. I have a TenTec 238 tuner.
Suggestions?
