Bob,
You can use regular PL259's and 1/2 inch copper tubing butt splice compression
fittings.

Subject: [TowerTalk] FREE CO-AX
I live close to a CATV cable storage warehouse and work center. On Saturdays
I can go raid the dumpster usually finding several sizes and types of new
cable. It is not uncommon to find 60 to 70 foot lengths. This cable is 70/72
Ohms and it's very low loss would make a good 2 Meter feeder. The impedance
is no problem but connectors are, does anyone know where to buy connectors
and adaptors to CO-AX, 83-1SP.
