Not sure of the exact configuration but there are probably two or more
air wound coils and/or two or more ceramic capacitors. It is a low pass
filter. Could be solder joints, caps going short or open or a coil
melting and shorting. Or maybe one of the coax connectors has developed
a carbon trace or crack. Either drill out the rivets (easy to do) or
throw it away (not the ham radio thing to do of course). 73 bob de w9ge
