Well as amateurs we have repeaters all over the place co-located for free.
To maintain that amateur-to-commercial relationship and good will I would
allow them to use it for the deal offered if it were my tower. A propane
generator is no small expense and you could use the Internet to run an
Echolink or IRLP node.
Just my 2 cents.

Our club has been approached by a local company about the possibility of
installing a repeater (somewhere in the 150 mhz range) on our 180' tower.
Actually they want to place 2 antennas on it. In exchange for this they are
willing to install a propane emergency generator which would power the club
in event of power outages and provide high speed internet to us. They would
incur all costs. We haven't spoken to our attorney or anyone else but I
would like to know what other similar locations get in compensation for
tower space. In a mostly rural general location within the city limits of a
30,000 population area, how much could we really expect someone to pay for
tower space on our tower? Surely it would have to be more than the cost of
internet service a month.
Thanks Bill AD8P
