I use a Yaesu thrust bearing with a bracket that I made to attached the
center of the antenna. The thrust bearing is on the mast. The tower turns
and the wire stays in place. I will see if I can take a zoom photo tomorrow
if you are interested.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Hardware for a Rotating Tubular Tower to Accommodate a
Inverted V Dipole Question

I am sure that some of you have faced this dilemma before and have come up
with some solution.

A ham friend has a 40 ft Tubular Tower which he intends to use with the
rotator mounted at the bottom.
Since the entire tower now rotates, what have you come up with, hardware
wise,
to accommodate the Inverted V Dipole supended just bellow a yagi on teh
nast that protrudes at the 40 ft level?

Does anyone have any photos of either available or home made hardware?
( If commercial, which vender ? )
