Hi Gary, My recommendation is play it safe! The scenario of slowly leaning 400lbs of tower down is very risky, especially since somebody has to be in that truck. An unexpected physical failure could result in the tower crushing the truck and/or driver. At the minimum hire in an experienced small crane operator. Most sign companies have their own small crane and are willing to do small jobs like this just to pay their overhead of owning the equipment. Be safe out there. 73, Scott W3TX _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
