Ken, Can't speak for others but here I have installed a Pet-Safe brand system. The present one ( 4 months in use) is the new digital transmitter encircling one acre of my yard. The tower is less than 30 feet from one of the boundary lines. The old one was in service for over 7 years. Both have NOT caused noise that I detected. My wife's aquarium fish tank heater is another story, you can hear it cycle off and on.
