Okay. I'll bite that these are reasonable figures for INITIAL tension -
not final tension. Initial tension gives you enough tension to plumb the
tower and have enough tension to work on the tower.
The correct tension for EHS final tension is 10% of the ultimate
breaking strength @ 70 degrees F. For 3/16" it's 390#. For 1/4" it's 600#.
