Dan, thanks to you and the rest of the guys for the input.

The modeling shows that a Delta Loop, properly fed for vertical polarization, 
has less side nulls than a dipole (at a good reasonable height).  That is an 
important consideration for me.  It has about 2.6 DB side null.  Not too bad, 
and is more or less an omnidirectional antenna.  Especially compared to a 
dipole at a 1/2 wave or so high.  I think only one chap commented on that.
