Me too. Is it that the original poster doesn't believe in science 
and the laws of physics? NEC works! It is an accurate predictor of 
how antennas work. 

This stuff ain't magic, and science isn't decided by popular vote. 
If you think there is a difference between "theory and practice," 
you don't know enough about one or the other.
