Here is a link to the FCC rules requiring notification for structures near
airports:

http://www.access.gpo.gov/nara/cfr/waisidx_04/47cfr17_04.html

Paragraph 17.7 has the pertinent info. The structure needs to fall below a
cone of various slopes depending on distance from the runway to not require
notification to the FAA. Based on how you are describing your location, you
shouldn?t have a problem

How tall are the trees in your yard and/or the neighbor's yards? I don't
remember the exact details, but I believe that you put up a tower 20' higher

than the existing vegetation and structures, not including other radio
towers. I'm sure someone on the list knows the specifics.
