Could anyone use a 60 foot Rohn 40G tower in good shape that is free
for taking it down? This is fairly heavy-duty galvanized steel
triangular tower that is 18 inches on a side and 18 inches between
steps of its full length so it is easy climbing. It comes in 10 foot
sections. A .jpg is available.
This sturdy tower, including a HB wide-spaced 20m monoband Yagi, are
available in Fullerton, CA 92835 at the QTH of Marv, W6FR. He can be
contacted at 714-871-3607 or via email at
w6frmarv@dslextreme.com, A small prop pitch motor and a
high-quality climbing belt are also available at very reasonable
prices. A tower jack and gin pole will be necessary and only an
experienced person should consider this for purposes of safety.
Thanks for helping out and feel free to pass this along.
73,
Dan, N5AR
