Several years ago, a warehouse full of Comscope 3227 came on the market cheap, thanks to a bankrupty in the telcom world. Your description matches it. This is a very nice low loss cable, with specs optimized for performance at >500 MHz. I have some of it. Good stuff. Stiff.
