| Having used two 4el 40 KLMs and several KT34XAs at my old QTH, I feel your pain. The newer M2 stuff has an entirely different set up that doesn't use the peanuts. I think that using fiberglass rod or your solution of aluminum rods will work just fine. Bill K4XS/KH7XS **************Start the year off right.
