Even properly attached to the fascia you must be careful. I recently
made an inquiry about my Tri-Ex T-15, which is slightly larger than Rohn
25, and was told that bracketed at about 13 feet the design software
predicted the need for guys at a height of 35 feet. Without the guys the
software showed possible failure of cross braces at maximum wind velocity.
This is with a KT-34XA at the top and at a wind speed of 90 miles per
hour, which is required for my area. The necessary guying is minimal
with two of the guys (southwest and northwest) secured to the roof of my
garage and the east guy attached to a normal ground guy point. And, yes
this is with the bracket attached to the wall of the garage and bolted
through a 2x6 on the inside of the garage wall studs.
