Dan, if your swedging scheme does not work out you can buy tubing from Texas
Towers in 1/8 inch steps from 2 inch down. It has .052 wall so makes
excellent short bushings to use at each joint. I usually do a saw slot
length wise at each joint in the tubes and clamp down with hose clamps. They
have ads in CQ and QST showing the tubing info. 73, Dan, N5AR
