Inexpensive source of beeswax?  Buy a toilet flange wax ring - make sure it
is natural beeswax and not synthetic.  Scrape it off into a can and you have
lifetime of it for about a buck!  Use it to lubricate nails - especially
long, large spikes like you would use to pound into timbers for landscaping.
