I am replying to my own post here, nearly two months later, but I though
perhaps it might be useful in the archives.
It turns out that the connectors that Nemal sent me were from RFS (Radio
Frequency Systems) in factory sealed packages denoted Rev. K 05Oct2005 with
their part number UHFM-LCF12-001.

Obviously I know now they were primarily intended for RFS Cellflex SCF12
cable but Nemal had listed them as fitting LDF4 also, and I have no reason
to doubt them at this point. I have put a couple of photos of the connectors
on a webpage I have started for my tower/antenna project (talk about
over-budget, thanks zoning board).
