Are you a PE or any kind of engineer? Are you involved with building codes
or construction practices? You want to put up a tower, deck, garage,
outhouse, etc., you play by their rules. Sorry - that's SOP just about
anywhere these
days.

blocks in the way then no one will be permitted to have a tower. So this is
related to the reflector.

Yes, in the good old days if you wanted to put up a tower, you just put
it up. Times have changed. Add NIMBY neighbors and putting up a tower in many
places is challenging. But if you jump thru the hoops - generally you can
get a permit to put one up. (Whether your CC&R's will actually let you is
another story.)

compare to others, but why should we tolerate it ?

Uhh, because it's the law?

    Manufacturing standards and engineering calculations?

We
are not commercial operations, we do not have funds as a corporations, or a
legal department.... etc.

Many of the building regs I've seen differentiate between commercial and
amateur. If they don't, get yourself on the Planning Commission and work on
getting them changed. That's what many hams have done in many jurisdictions.

Thank you for ending this inappropriate TT thread.
